Banning Phones in Schools
We Think That The Government did the right thing by banning phones at school because they are distracting, can be stolen or broken, and some students could go online in the wrong places.
Distractions:
Having phones at school is not necessary because it could lead to people not focusing in class. Also they would have the ability to access bad sites and teachers may not be able to supervise or track students when they are on their phones.6
Theft:
Phones are fragile, easy to break but expensive. That’s why it’s best for the government to ban cellphones to reduce the chances of students’ cell phones being stolen or destroyed.
Unresponsible:
Some kids might not be on the right sites if they are using their phone, not doing their work, meaning using their phones would disturb their learning and maybe other students’ learning.
Conclusion:
Overall we think that cell phones should be banned during school hours because if students are on phones it will waste their time, leading to them having a lower chance to get into college then they will have the feeling of regret and sadness.
